Who Qualifies?
No insurance
You don't have access to dental insurance through an employer or private plan.
Income under $90,000
Your adjusted family net income is under $90,000 (for tax purposes) and you're a Canadian resident.
Canadian resident
You are a Canadian resident and have filed a tax return for the relevant year.
Coverage
What's Covered?
Some services like orthodontics, veneers, and cosmetic procedures are not covered under the CDCP. Some procedures may need pre-authorization.

- Go to the CDCP application page.
- Sign in using My Service Canada Account.
- Fill in your information.
- Submit your application.
Usually takes 10–15 minutes.

Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?
Yes, we accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). This program may cover services such as dental exams, cleanings, X-rays, fillings, root canal treatment, tooth extractions, and removable dentures. Contact our clinic to learn more or schedule an appointment.
Can my family members also use the CDCP?
Each family member must individually qualify and be enrolled in the program. Eligibility is based on individual tax filings and insurance status.
Do I need to pay anything upfront?
In most cases, if you're enrolled and your income is under $70,000, there is no co-pay. For incomes between $70,000–$89,999, a co-pay may apply. Our team will help explain your out-of-pocket costs before treatment.
Is Invisalign or Botox covered under CDCP?
No. The CDCP covers essential dental services. Cosmetic procedures like Invisalign, veneers, teeth whitening, and Botox are not covered under the plan.
How do I renew my CDCP coverage?
CDCP members must renew annually. For the 2026–2027 benefit year, renewal is available between April 15 and June 1, 2026. Visit canada.ca/dental or call 1-833-537-4342.
