Dr. Navraj Dhanowa, from an early age, developed a deep sense of compassion and a dedication to creating a positive influence on people’s lives. This philosophy has guided the trajectory of his personal and professional life. Dr. Dhanowa is a highly skilled general dentist fluent in English and Punjabi with a passion for restoring smiles and improving the oral health of his patients. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD) from the University of British Columbia. 

After graduation, Dr. Dhanowa began his journey in dentistry with a unwavering focus on achieving excellence and innovation. During the early stages of his career, he initially practiced dentistry in Kamloops where he provided broad-spectrum treatment to a diverse population and it’s surrounding rural under-serviced areas. Working alongside a renowned dentist who was a Kois Mentor, it was here where Dr. Dhanowa learned the Kois principles of dentistry and developed his ability to provide excellent clinical outcomes in complex cases including full mouth rehabilitations involving severely worn dentitions. Being from Richmond, Dr. Dhanowa eventually returned to the lower mainland, where he has continued to practice dentistry since 2019 through multiple clinics in Richmond, Vancouver, North Vancouver and West Vancouver.

Being a profound advocate for continuing education, he is always taking new courses to further his dental education and implement the latest technology to the treatment he provides. It is through this process, that Dr. Dhanowa has developed his unique, holistic and multidisciplinary approach that utilizes digital treatment planning and collaboration allowing for an unparalleled experience and excellent clinical outcomes for his patients.

A core focus on his commitment to patient education and active engagement, is ensuring that every individual is presented a clear and comprehensive facially generated treatment plan that they can appreciate, fully understand and visualize before embarking on their transformative journey with confidence. Dr. Dhanowa is able to provide the highest level of quality and precision in restorative dentistry by leveraging digital technology.

Dr Dhanowa believes that excellence is the result of dedication and remains committed to pursuing excellence in helping his patients achieve their dream smile and optimal oral health. Having spent some of his childhood living in Surrey, Dr. Dhanowa looks forward to serving the community that was pivotal in his development. Outside of the office, Dr. Dhanowa enjoys hiking, running, traveling, and photography.
